NACAC Application Fee Waiver Requests

1. Login to your CommonApp HERE
2. Click on the “Payments” section
3. Click on the first school in your “My Colleges” box
4. Click on the drop-down menu where it says “Payment Method”
5. Choose “NACAC Fee Waiver Request”
6. Sign the “Certification Statement” that follows and click “SUBMIT”
7. A green triangle will now appear next to that school in your “My Colleges” box indicating that your method of payment has been “Indicated or Paid”
8. Now do this for all other schools you are applying to
9. Some schools may not let you do this until after you submit your CommonApp or Supplement for that school; in that case, follow these same steps after you submit your CommonApp or Supplement for that school
10. If you are applying to URI Talent Development (TD) or RIC Preparatory Enrollment Program (PEP), you must enter in the fee waiver code you obtain from the Guidance Office and not a NACAC fee waiver request; this indicates to the Admissions Office at those schools that you are a TD or PEP candidate
11. Once you have completed this for all of the schools in your “My Colleges” box and once you have successfully linked your guidance counselor to your Common Application, they will certify to the colleges and universities that you are applying to that you are eligible for a NACAC Fee Waiver.
12. For schools not on the Common Application, you will need to retrieve a paper copy of the NACAC Fee Waiver, either from your guidance counselor or the College Guide. Fill out the top portion for each of the schools you are applying to that do not participate in the Common Application and have your guidance counselor fill out the bottom portion. Once they return them to you, you may mail them to the admissions offices at each of those schools.
13. NOTE: EVERYONE AT TOLMAN QUALIFIES FOR A NACAC FEE WAIVER, SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY TO ALL OF THE SCHOOLS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOR FREE!
